<p>First published in 1632, Galileo's work explored the workings of the solar system. Galileo was sentenced to a lifetime of house arrest shortly after its release. The book was smuggled out of Italy, though, and republished. It remains a sought-after collectible and influential piece of fiction. Most of the essays were penned by Alexander Hamilton and James Madison. Published in 1926, the first edition is bound in black cloth with gold paper labels.<!--StartFragment--><!--EndFragment--></p><p>This children’s classic by A.A. Milne is rich with illustrations by E.H. Shepard. Original drawings related to this 1926 publication have fetched more than 1 million pounds at British auction, and the book price often beats estimates.</p>
